Teacher's Aide: Afternoon STREAM Guide

Posted: 01/09/2026

Hours: Monday – Friday | 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Focus: Ages 4–7 (Early Learners)

Help Us Empower Neurodiverse Young Innovators

At Vanguard Gifted Academy, we celebrate the "different" thinker. Many of our students are twice-exceptional (2e), and we are looking for a Teacher’s Aide who views autism and other neurodivergent traits as a unique way of processing the world. If you have a heart for mentoring children who think outside the box and need a patient, supportive hand to navigate their brilliance, we want to meet you.

What Your Afternoon Will Look Like

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Midday Community. Support students during lunch and play. This is a critical time for coaching social-emotional skills.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: STREAM Module. Work alongside the teacher to facilitate Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts, and Math projects. You will provide the "scaffolding" some of our learners need to turn their big ideas into reality.

At least 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 4–7.
