FALL IN LOVE WITH SCIENCE AT ECOLAB: MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
GENEVA, IL — Love is in the air this February — and so is chemistry. Curious minds are invited to explore the science behind attraction in nature during “EcoLab: My Chemical Romance,” a hands-on program hosted by the Forest Preserve District of Kane County.
During this engaging EcoLab session, participants will investigate the chemical reactions and processes animals use to attract mates. Through interactive experiments, families will observe exciting reactions and discover whether “love” in the natural world is heating up or cooling down.
This program is designed for ages 7 and older. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The program takes place Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Creek Bend Nature Center, 37W700 Dean St. in St. Charles. The fee is $5 per person.
Advance registration is required. To register, visit www.kaneforest.com/register, call 630-444-3190, or email programs@kaneforest.com.
