GENEVA, IL — Golfers are invited to enjoy a day on the course while supporting local forest preserves at the Kane Forest Preserve Foundation’s annual Golf Outing, on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Hughes Creek Golf Course in Elburn. Eight Student Employees Receive Scholarships from Covenant Living at The Holmstad
Batavia, Ill.: The Resident Association of Covenant Living at the Holmstad has awarded scholarships to eight graduating high school seniors employed at the senior living community. The students were recognized during a recent celebration dinner on campus. The scholarships are funded primarily through proceeds from the Holmstad’s annual fall Bazaar, where residents sell handmade items and donated merchandise. Applicants were evaluated on school and community involvement, and future academic goals.
