Chop Around the Clock Returns for the 35th Year

This year marks the 35th year Foltos’ Tonsorial Parlor in Batavia, Illinois has produced Chop Around the Clock. Beginning on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 4 p.m., all the way through to Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 4 p.m., we will cut hair and donate all the proceeds to the Ronald McDonald’s Children’s Charities. This is a kid-friendly event. 

This 24-hour fun-filled event will include music, dancing, bake sale, raffles, open mic, poetry, hot dogs…the fun never stops! If you want to help out, let us know, so we can get you on the schedule. We have raised more than $360,000 over the past 34 years!  We need bakers, dancers, entertainers, people to get haircuts, anything you can think of.

CHOP SCHEDULE
Haircutting, stories, hot dogs, bake sale and music throughout the 24 hours.

Friday, June 5

• 4 to 5 pm: Let the games begin – haircuts and food 
• 5 to 6 pm: BBQ, BBQ, BBQ, hot dogs and more
• 6 pm: Ice cream eating contest and the music begins
• 7 pm: Kids’ games to include a rousing game of Simon Says 
• 8 to 11 pm: World’s longest conga line, dancing, musicians, kids’ games and more
• 11 pm Friday to 8 am Saturday: Music continues, stories shared, and ever-exciting late night haircuts

• 8 am: Bring breakfast
• 8:30 to 10 am: Musical entertainment and more kids’ games
• 10 am to 4 pm: Face painting, more music, more food and GREAT haircuts, of course!
