Batavia Public School District 101 Announces Upcoming Board of Education Vacancies

Batavia Public School District 101 announces that two members of the Board of Education have submitted their resignations, effective immediately: Katy Swiecicki and Danielle Sligar.

On behalf of the Board of Education, we extend our sincere appreciation for their service, leadership, and commitment to the students, staff, families, and community of Batavia. Serving on a Board of Education requires personal time dedicated to thoughtful discussion, preparation, decision-making, and community engagement. Their willingness to serve in this important role has helped support the continued success of our schools and the future of our students.

We will soon share additional information about the process and timeline for filling the upcoming Board vacancies with the community. Community members interested in serving on the Board of Education are encouraged to consider applying once details are announced.
