Bruma Home Care is a locally owned, Illinois-licensed Home Services Agency (IDPH License #3003194) based in West Chicago, providing non-medical in-home care for older adults across DuPage, Kane, and Kendall Counties. We help seniors stay safe and independent at home with companion care, personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers), medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, respite for family caregivers, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, overnight care, and 24-hour live-in support. We also specialize in hospital-to-home recovery care after a hospital stay, surgery, or rehab, working alongside your loved one’s healthcare team so the discharge plan actually gets followed at home.

What makes Bruma different is how we operate. When you call, the owner answers — not a call center. You get the same regular caregiver instead of a rotating cast of strangers. Care can usually start within 24 to 72 hours, and we offer a free in-home assessment, often the same day you call. Every caregiver passes the Illinois Health Care Worker fingerprint background check, completes state-required training, and is a W-2 employee covered by our workers’ compensation and general liability insurance. Our caregivers speak English, Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati, and Punjabi, so your family can receive care in the language you’re most comfortable in.

We serve Naperville, Aurora, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Elgin, Oswego, Yorkville, West Chicago, Carol Stream, Bloomingdale, Lombard, and surrounding communities. Hourly rates start at $28, with no deposit and no long-term contract — just a 4-hour minimum per visit. We accept private pay and long-term care insurance.
