Professionals working with older adults frequently encounter difficult situations for which there is no easy solution. When an older adult has dementia, such situations are even more difficult.
Attend this session to learn three models of ethical decision-making and apply them to real-life case studies. By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to identify some of the ethical challenges faced by professionals working in the field of dementia care, describe three frameworks for ethical decision-making and utilize these frameworks in clinical practice.
