CITY OF BATAVIA ANNOUNCES OPEN BIDDING FOR REMOVAL, RELOCATION OF TIN SHOP
BATAVIA, IL – The City of Batavia’s Community and Economic Development Department is now accepting sealed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the removal and relocation of the Tin Shop building, located at 106 N. River Street. Proposals will be accepted until noon on April 18, 2025. The City is seeking proposals to relocate the structure as a whole or dismantle and remove it entirely. The project will not impact other nearby structures, such as the garage at 112 N. River Street and the MainStreet
Batavia Chamber of Commerce to Honor Businesses Who Exemplify Confidence and Investment in Batavia as Ole Award Winners
Batavia, Ill. – February 18, 2025 –Today, five Batavia businesses were named recipients of the 2024 Ole Award. Businesses who had final city occupancy permits by December 31, 2024, were eligible. All recipients will be honored at Inspire 2025: A Celebration of Those Who Inspire Us! event, scheduled for Thursday, April 24.
