The Batavia Woman’s Club is once again helping educate our local middle schoolers by providing scholarships to summer camps which offers a STEAM Curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Music/Performing Arts, or Math). 
 
If your child or student is currently enrolled in middle school and has a desire for educational enrichment, there are exciting summer programs and camps available. These camps offer immersive experiences in a diverse array of fields, including music, science, coding, robotics, space exploration, performance art, and much more. We encourage families and educators to reach out if their middle schooler is interested in participating in these  opportunities.
 
The deadline for submission is April 17, 2026, and applications are now being accepted. Requirements for consideration include a teacher’s recommendation letter along with a completed application that can be accessed at https://www.bataviawomansclub.org/scholarship

For more than 55 years, the Batavia Woman’s Club has conducted various fund-raising programs to fund the STEAM camp scholarships that enrich the lives of qualifying students. As a special treat for the BWC, each year, at our October meeting, we celebrate with the students who have been past recipients of the program as they share their specific camp experience through testimonials and performance.
