Fresh Start City Church is proud to host our 5th Annual Bright Futures Back-to-School Community Event — and this year we are going BIGGER than ever!
Join us for a FREE, fun-filled day celebrating our community and making sure every child walks into the new school year feeling ready, confident, and loved.
 Saturday, July 11, 2026
 11AM – 3PM
 10 S Lancaster Ave, Aurora, IL

THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE — No tickets to purchase, no fees, no barriers. Just show up!

 350+ FREE backpacks fully stuffed with school supplies for children K–12
 Free food for the whole family — hot dogs, burgers, chips and more
 Live entertainment, face painting, snow cones & a live zoo experience
 Prayer Tent — a quiet, welcoming space for reflection and support
 35 community vendor booths — local businesses and resources
 Children's book giveaway

This event is open to ALL families — from Aurora, Naperville, Elgin, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Oswego, Batavia and every community in between. No matter where you come from, you are welcome here.
