About Us

The Batavia MainStreet program is a not-for-profit, community-based organization devoted to enhancing downtown Batavia’s identity as the heart of the community through dedicated volunteer efforts. Working as a promotional force in the city’s downtown sector, the Main Street organization hosts a calendar of community events including the annual Batavia Egg Hop, Race to Market 5k, Well Batavia, weekly Farmers Market, Cocktails in the Park, Batavia Dinner Table, Block Party/Taste of Batavia and more. MainStreet also cooperates in a variety of marketing, promotional, and educational programs for sector businesses.
