Sales Engineer – Great Lakes Area (Chicago Ideal)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive service sales for industrial equipment—including spare parts, repairs, modernizations, and service agreements—in the Great Lakes territory. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys strategic selling, problem-solving, and working cross-functionally with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute service sales strategy within assigned territory

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for service-related sales

  • Manage key customer accounts; serve as the primary point of contact

  • Visit customers regularly to present solutions and strengthen relationships

  • Provide quotes and follow-up for large spare parts, repair, and modernization projects

  • Support customer data accuracy and CRM records

  • Attend trade shows and events to promote service offerings

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Field Service, Engineering, and Sales

  • Share market feedback on competition and trends

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of territory sales experience; industrial or service-related a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and within a team

  • Willing and able to travel up to 60%; some international travel may be required

  • Based in the Great Lakes Region (Chicago preferred)
