Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW: J. C. Schultz Enterprises, Inc. / FlagSource is a 104-year-old family business. We are a full line flag and banner manufacturer located in Batavia, IL. Our products are of the highest quality, longest lasting in our industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspecting custom and stock fabric products by measuring dimensions and examining color, defects, ink marks or other imperfections Review order specifications and compare them to finished product Report any discrepancies to the QC Lead, Production Manager or Print Manager Finished products must be placed on the hemming table for finishing When a reprint is requested, the product and layout copy should be placed in designated area for Manager inspection Other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Previous QC experience a plus Written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving and analytical skills Keen attention to detail Basic math skills to measure specifications Ability to use measuring devices Order/layout reading and interpretation capabilities Documentation and reporting skills Teamwork and collaboration Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time Ability to bend, twist and lift up to 30 pounds
