The Batavia-Geneva-St Charles Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites you to a Presentation: Achieve Productive Dialog with the Dignity Index.
The organization, UNITE.US was formed in 2018 to help ease divisions in the country. In 2021, they released the Dignity Index, an 8-point scale for measuring how we talk to each other when we disagree. Words have power. It's not necessarily our disagreements that cause divisions; it's the words we say when we disagree that can communicate a degree of contempt or dignity.
The Central Kane County League of Women Voters (LWV) and other area organizations are co-sponsoring this presentation.
