Description
The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation (BMCF) is hosting an open house on Tuesday, August 31st at Bar Evolution in downtown Batavia (27 N. River St.) from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. This is a casual way to get to know more about the club, the club’s mission, and the women within the club. Current members will be available to answer any questions and provide information. Club activities include community fundraisers (BMCF gave over $10,000 to local charities this year!); recreational activities for moms, couples, and families; and play groups for moms and kids among other things. Members meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in Batavia from September through May. The first meeting of the 2021-2022 year will be on September 1, 2021.
BMCF hosts a variety of fundraisers throughout the year such as the annual Fall Craft & Vendor Show to be held at Batavia Shannon Hall on October 23, 2021; the Bunco Charity Event held in January/February; and the Fox Trot 5K/10K Run held in April. In addition to the large fundraisers held annually, BMCF also supports local charities each month by providing needed donations or services. Please join us to find out more about our club. For more information, please visit us at www.bataviamothersclub.org or email us at membership@bataviamothersclub.org.
The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1934, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in the Fox Valley area. Each year, the club donates $20,000-$50,000 to local charities, including the CHIP IN Batavia and CASA Kane County, whose activities support this mission. The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation is open to all mothers in the area who are interested in local philanthropic, service, and community activities.
