Get a head start on your holiday shopping and avoid the mall by attending MALLternative – the 4th Annual Craft and Vendor Show to benefit the ministries of Calvary Episcopal Church. It will be held Saturday, December 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Batavia VFW, 645 S. River Street (Route 25) in Batavia. Admission and parking are free. In addition to numerous booths of handmade crafts, MALLternative features a wide variety of vendor booths offering everything from jewelry to food and kitchen products, home décor to clothing, chiropractic services to candles and cosmetics. Shoppers can alsoenjoy lunch items, a bake sale, and can even buy fresh wreaths and roping. As an added bonus, the first 50 shoppers will receive a complimentary goody bag.
