11:30 AM - 1:30 PM CDT
Starts: 1130am
Ends: 0130pm
Dick Hansen was President and CEO of Furnas Electric in Batavia until its sale in 1996 to Siemens Electric. Under his leadership, Furnas grew dramatically, selling its motor control products worldwide in a very competitive industry. Dick and his management team implemented world-class management practices well ahead of their time. Join us as Dick recounts the philosophy and practices that enabled the company to establish a leadership position within the industrial control industry. As a special treat, those who wish to stay will be enthralled to hear the story of the recovery and restoration of a WWII airplane from the bottom of Lake Michigan. Dick will show a fascinating video and answer your questions about one of his first loves...flying!
