Description
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Manufacturing Day Hiring Event office on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. They are partnering with Valley Industrial Association, Illinois Department of Employment Security, community service providers and Chambers to help people find jobs.
There is a full day of employment activities:
9 – 10 a.m.: Opportunity to interview candidates you have prescreened with developmental challenges
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Hiring event open to the public
1 – 2 p.m.: Lunch and learn for employers interested in financial incentives and information regarding hiring, with a focus on returning citizens
2 – 4:30 p.m.: Opportunity to interview soon to be released detainees including forklift and OSHA Certified candidates.
