A partnership between Mutual Ground, Aurora, Gibby’s Wine Den, and Special Occasions on the Avenuewill lead a collection of purses and accessories for the clients served by Mutual Ground. This is agreat time to purchase fresh fashion for yourself, and donate (gently used) purses and accessoriesto empower someone else to start the year with a fresh new look! Work wardrobe items especially appreciated! Donations are accepted anytime February 7 – March 7. Drop off can be either at Special Occasions on the Avenue, 2 North Batavia Avenue Batavia or Gibby’s Wine Den 1772 S Randal Road, Suite 220, Geneva. In return receive coupons to either store to use on your next purchase. To kick off the campaign, “Some Like it Hot”, stop by Gibby’s on Thursday February 7 for: Sangria by the glassat the bar will move our minds to a warmer locale. Tantalize your taste buds with small bites and wewill have raffle prizes too! We will spice it up with informal modeling from Special Occasions on the Avenue. Special Occasion will bring a smattering of items to be purchased that evening with your coupon. In addition, 10% of all purchases at Gibby’s Wine Den this evening will be donatedback to Mutual Ground. Grab some friends and head over for a relaxing, fun evening. No reservations required and there is no charge to attend! To wrap up the “Some Like it Hot” donation drive, on Thursday March 7 beginning at 7pm, Special Occasions on Avenue will be hosting a wine and food pairing featuring wines from Gibby’s Wine Den. In addition, 10% of all purchases at Special Occasionson the Avenue this evening will be donated back to Mutual Ground.
