Brought to you by by the hilariously dynamic duo Paul Farahvar and Kristen Toomey, this show delivers fresh talent and new laughs every month.  

April 27th GenXish lineup:
Headliner: Joey Villagomez.  Joey Villagomez has been performing stand up comedy for over 15 years and is a staple on the Chicago comedy scene. He was part of the TBS Just For Laughs Festival and appeared on Paul Rodriguez’s New Latin Kings of Comedy Tour. He has performed at clubs including Gotham New York, The Hollywood Improv and The World Famous Comedy Store. In 2019, Joey was picked by Bill Burr to be featured on his Comedy Central series, Bill Burr Presents: The Ringers. Joey currently tours, headlining comedy clubs across the country.

Feature: Joe Fernandez. Joe Fernandez is a half-Cuban half-Irish (or Cubish) comedian and actor. Described as dark, cerebral, sardonic, and flat out bizarre, Joe combines low brow, off- color humor with high brow references to satirize serious subjects. His smile and playful personality belie the seedy underbelly that is his morbid sense of humor, getting audiences to laugh before being mad at themselves for laughing but then continuing to laugh cause what Joe’s saying is very very funny.

Joe has been featured on NBC, TBS Just For Laughs, Boston Comedy Fest, Chicago Sketch Fest, Memphis Comedy Fest and was a finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award.

His debut comedy album “Ugly” premiered number one on iTunes and is available for streaming on all major platforms. His special of the same name is for free viewing on Tubi. His second comedy special “Demented | Live at the Chicago Laugh Factory" is available on Youtube. Has he also beaten Hannibal Burress in NBA Jam and improvised yelling at “Lake Placid” star Oliver Platt during an episode of Chicago Med? Yes he has. And they’re the credits he’s most proud of.

Host: Kristen Toomey.  Kristen Toomey brings her unapologetic truth and high-energy style to the stage. With viral reels boasting over 20 million views and credits from Just For Laughs and Netflix Is A Joke Festival, Kristen is one of the most dynamic comedians in the game today.
