The Fox Valley Patriotic Organization (FVPO) and the Batavia Flag Day Committee are busy planning for a special Flag Day this year - one that includes a groundbreaking for the Batavia Flag Day Monument.
Please put this date on your calendars, and plan to come see what this phenomenal national-caliber salute to Old Glory will look like. The June 14 evening festivities will start at 5:45 with some patriotic arrangements by the Batavia Community Band. The program will be held from 6:00-7:00pm which will include turning up the first shovels of dirt for the monument. Thank you for your patience, Batavia and the entire Fox Valley area! We are thrilled to finally be able to start the building of this beautiful tribute to the American flag.
