This year, due to the severe crisis in Springfield, we are going to focus on the State Legislature. So we can get an in-depth analysis of the situation in the Senate and the House, we are asking Senator Chris Lauzen and Representative Tim Schmitz to respond to the following questions:

What do you see as the best solutions to the State government's fiscal crisis? How should revenue be increased, or costs reduced, to close the budget gap?
What plans do you have to help the State's ailing overall economy, including specific plans to promote job growth?
