Our club meets in the Town Hall Center Meeting Room at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Pkwy., Batavia, IL 60510. To get to our meeting room, use the main doors on the east side of the facility to enter the Town Center Building. Our room is located in the northeast corner.

Description
When will you be called upon to do a presentation in a real world scenario? A toast at a wedding? Saying something at a graduation? Being asked to stand up and say a few words at the spur of the moment? Maybe your boss asks you, at the last minute, to do a presentation, because the other person was not available, sick, etc.
If you want to reduce your nervousness in front of a crowd, to gain confidence when speaking, or even to refine already-strong speaking skills, Talk of the Town Toastmasters is the right place for you. The added bonus? Our club gives you great opportunities to develop and refine leadership skills. Come join us for a free meeting or two.
Each meeting has a different theme. The theme for this meeting is “Bring Out Your Inner Child”
Talk of the Town Toastmasters was established in 2009 to bring Toastmasters International to Batavia, Illinois. Our club is made up of a great group of people who are each committed to becoming better public speakers and more effective leaders. About 20 members and guests -- who come from all walks of life -- attend each weekly meeting.
Please plan to arrive at your first meeting about ten minutes early so we can greet you, meet you, and answer your questions. We look forward to seeing you!
