This particular meeting will be held at the Auditorium at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Pkwy., Batavia, IL 60510. To get there, use the doors on the North side of the facility. We'll have someone there to let you in (those doors are normally locked) and direct you to the meeting.

When will you be called upon to do a presentation in a real world scenario? A toast at a wedding? Saying something at a graduation? Being asked to stand up and say a few words at the spur of the moment? Maybe your boss asks you, at the last minute, to do a presentation, because the other person was not available, sick, etc.
If you want to reduce your nervousness in front of a crowd, to gain confidence when speaking, or even to refine already-strong speaking skills, Talk of the Town Toastmasters is the right place for you. The added bonus? Our club gives you great opportunities to develop and refine leadership skills. Come join us for a free meeting or two.
Each meeting has a different theme. This meeting is even more unusual in that it is our Second Annual All-Improv Meeting. Which means it's totally unlike anything else, because our Improv-Masters only give us some basic guidelines to start from, and the rest of us -- including you (if you want) -- take it from there.
Talk of the Town Toastmasters was established in 2009 to bring Toastmasters International to Batavia, Illinois. Our club is made up of a great group of people who are each committed to becoming better public speakers and more effective leaders. About 20 members and guests -- who come from all walks of life -- attend each weekly meeting.
Please plan to arrive at your first meeting about ten minutes early so we can greet you, meet you, and answer your questions. We look forward to seeing you!
