Description
Open to the Public! Come join us and and experience one of our many Lodge events that has helped grow our membership. Learn more about the causes we support, and membership opportunities while enjoying great music in our beautiful outdoor venue. No cover charge. Food and drink available for purchase. Bring your bag/lawn chairs.
The Lodge is part of the Moose International fraternity, an “International Organization of Men and Women Dedicated to Caring for Young and Old, Bringing Communities Closer Together, and Celebrating Life”. The organization includes valuable service to our communities, and care for children and teens in need at Mooseheart Child City& School.
2:00 PM: Performance is the core of School of Rock's educational approach. They create opportunities for students to perform on stages throughout the area and are coming to the Batavia Moose Lodge. The House Band music program allows each school's most talented students the opportunity to join a band and play routinely in front of live audiences. Students gain real music experience associated with gigging musicians and will become leaders and mentors inside the School of Rock community.4:00 PM: The "HEAD HONCHOS BAND" brings to both the live music scene and recording experience, music based on intense body moving rhythms and emotionally charged guitar expressions. Grounded on the foundations of American blues, rock, soul, and funk the "HEAD HONCHOS BAND" launches every tune with an irresistible invitation to kick back, let go, and enthusiastically ENJOY!!! Rocco Calipari's Detroit schooled vocals will leave no doubt of the unapologetic American identity you will experience. In an artistic celebration of our shared pride and joy, the "HEAD HONCHOS BAND" covers some of our most loved standards, while introducing to an appreciative audience roots inspired new songs
