Description
For managers, business owners, and anyone in a leadership position...
In the "old days" a coach would be pulled by a horse and would carry a person where they wanted to go. Today a coach still takes a person from where they are to where they want to go, but they don't use the horse. Leaders influence performance by being a good coach, but what is a "good" coach? Our discussion will involve:
- Defining the characteristics of a coach
- Identifying what coaching is, and what it isn't
- Discussing what the benefits and barriers are to coaching
- Understanding the coaching process
