"THE LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS: An Introduction to Flower Structure and Terminology". Jack Shouba is a teacher, botanist, and photographer. He has taught classes on flowers, trees, and photography at the Morton Arboretum for over twenty years. His photographs have been published in Chicago Wilderness and Outdoor Illinois magazines and used on calendars, brochures, and websites. A resident of Campton Hills, he has been active in conservation for many years, and was recently presented with the Dick Young Award for Lifetime Achievement in Conservation by the Kane-DuPage Soil and Water Conservation District.
