Description
We have need for a few volunteers on June 8 to help the Chamber rebuild a small section of the boardwalk on Batavia's Riverwalk.
Volunteers should be high school age students and older. Volunteers need to dress for the weather, wear footwear they don't mind getting muddy and bring work gloves.
Each work day a group will receive a short orientation to the work process and break into teams. A small section of the boardwalk will be demolished, then rebuilt the same day. Photos and publicity of groups working will appear on the Riverwalk Boardwalk Renovation Project Facebook page and www.purchaseaplank .com website and also be available for you to use for your own promotional purposes.
It's going to be great fun for the first 20 who sign up!
