Description
Join us to learn more about the life and work of Chicago native, Jesse Howard.
Howard’s work shines a spotlight on the people often minimized and cast aside by modern society. He uses bold and powerful charcoal strokes and gray and black washes to capture their experience. Howard says “My figures are often solitary and distorted. They speak of being disenfranchised, homeless and barely visible.”
Howard’s solo exhibition “Wolk Village” is on display in the Dempsey Family Gallery now until Nov 6th.
