What can we realistically expect of our government beginning in 2009?\n \n“The Election Is Over: What’s Next” will be presented at 7 p.m.\, Monday\, November 17\, at the Batavia Public Library\, 10 S. Batavia Avenue. \n \nPaul Green\, WGN Radio political analyst\, columnist\, and professor\, will analyze the 2008 presidential\, state\, and local elections. Green will ponder the game plan of the new administration and offer a preview to the 2010 Illinois gubernatorial election\, for which he recommends people “buckle their political seatbelts.”\n \nGreen is the Director of the Institute for Politics and Arthur Rubloff Professor of Policy Studies at Roosevelt University\, and author of several books and articles on Illinois and Chicago politics. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago.\n \nThis is the fourth and final lecture in the 2008 season of the Library’s New Lyceum Lecture Series\, and it is co-sponsored by the Kane County Chronicle.
