DESCRIPTION:If you want to help an adult read and speak English\, you will want to attend Literacy Volunteers FoxValley's free tutor training workshop. It will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays\, Sept. 11\, 13\, 18and 20 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the St. Charles Public Library. \n\nOnce you complete training you will be matched with one adult student and teach for one hour each week at a time and public locationthat is convenient such as the Batavia Public Library.\n\nYou do not need to have a second languageor a background in education to be effective.
