Join TriCity Family Services for a ParentSupport & Education Series presentation.  \n\n"Parenting Difficult Adolescents" will be presented on Thursday\, February 11\, 2010 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM at the TriCity Family Services offices\, located at1120 Randall Ct. Geneva\, IL 60134.\n\nTriCity Family Services Senior Clinician\, Greg Watson\, will present this topic with the help of three Master’s level clinical interns: Haley Mason\, Lana Rasmussen\, and Christina Post.  Greg Watson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker\, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist\, and a Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. \n\nThis presentation will answer the following questions: Is there such a thing as normal adolescence? How do I continue to connect with my teen when she or he won't talk with me about important issues and concerns?  How do I continue to maintain a positive relationship with my teen when I have to stand firm in the face of manipulation and testing?  What will the climate look like in my home during these difficult adolescentyears? \n\nStart 2010 with the best gift of all: an improved relationship with your teenager.  Advance registration is preferred.  Call TriCity Family Services to register at 630-232-1070.  Entrancefee is $5 per attendee.  Fee waivers are available based on need.
