SUMMARY:Lazarus House Great Western Freedom 4 Charity Run
DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for runners and walkers who wish to participate in the 2019 July 4th Great Western Freedom 4 at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles.  Last year about 320 patriotic participants started their holiday running\, walking\, or dashing to help their neighbors in need. All proceeds benefit Lazarus House.\n\n \n\nThe competitive 4-mile race is on a USATF certified course and is part of the Fox River Trail Runners Circuit\, awards will be issued overall and by age groups.  The 2-mile scenic walk is suited for the whole family to enjoy. Performance t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 150 registered runners and cotton t-shirts are given to the next 150 runners and walkers.  The Kids Dash offers races & activities for children 12 and under.  Each child receives a small participation gift and awards are given to the winners in several age categories.
