We will creatively connect art to all areas of the Montessori classroom. We will identify common classroom weaknesses and discover solutions to create a complete art area with confidence. We will use a wide variety of art materials to present a year of self-motivated art curriculum. All presentations are designed to grow with the young child. Attendees are encouraged to have some hands-on fun and participate in creating their own art portfolios. Please dress accordingly we can get messy! Each attendee will receive a correlating booklet of presentations.\n\n\n\nPresenter\, Diane Capasso is a certified Montessori director and has been involved in Montessori education since 1984. In 1997\, Little Strokes of Genius was born of her love of teaching and her passion for art. Diane combines a contagious enthusiasm with a creative teaching style that has proven to be highly appealing to students\, parents and teachers. From the start\, Little Strokes was warmly received by local Montessori schools\, which led to the successful extension of her unique program offering teacher training workshops\, on-site children's art workshops\, summer camps\, holiday workshops\, and group installation projects.
