DESCRIPTION:Did you know you community organizations can put Batavia events on the Chamber’s Community Calendar at no charge? And did you know that Neighbors of Batavia uses that same calendar to add events to their magazine\, which goes to 13\,000 addresses? This is one step in the Chamber’s efforts to support community organizations. Will there be more?The evening of Wednesday\, July 22\, the Chamber is inviting you to a meeting of local\, non-profit community organizations. We want to show you how easy it is to add events to our calendar\, and talk with you about how the Chamber can use its high profile in the community to increase your membership\, volunteer base and donations. Won’t you please join us? You do not need to be a member of the Chamber!Chris Nyborg of Nyborg & Company\, Ltd. has generously invited us to convene in her offices at 7:00 p.m. I’ll be bring coffee and some dessert to entice you even more!As a frequent volunteer\, I have a passion for the kinds of work community organizations do\, and would love to help even more as Executive Director of the Chamber. Please join us on the 22nd.
