DESCRIPTION:A family-friendly 1-mile walk at the beautiful Riverwalk.  The walk was created in memory of Chris Foley who died of a heroin overdose in July of 2007 and it's purpose is to raise awareness of substance abuse in our communities while raising funds for Hearts of Hope and New Life Corrections / Wayside Cross for their work with addiction and the incarcerated.  Come out for the walk\, rally featuringKane County Sheriff Pat Perez\, displays\, raffles\, balloon launch\, chair massages\, silent auctions\, Hawaiian shaved ice and more.  Register 8:30 am\, walk 9:00 am\, rally 10:00 am.  No cost to participate\, however\, each walker will raise pledges.  Learn more & register at www.chriswalk.net
