AllYou Need is Love\, a short from Brazil\, tells an old tale of social acceptance in a new way\; Prémices\, a student short from Switzerland\, is a story about young love\, lust\, right and wrong\; and Swing\,an animated short\, which contemplates the complexities of life and death. \n\n“I know we call it the‘Best of the Fest’\, but that’s not entirely true…because of our limited number of time slots\, regrettably\, we couldn’t include all of the great films we wanted to.”  Scott Rolf\, Executive Director\, Geneva Film Festival.\n\n“Along with some of the favorites from recent years\, I have a soft spot in my heart for some of our earlier films that a lot of people didn’t get the chance to see\, we’ve included Sebastian’s Voodoo\, an animated short\, that was featured at Cannes\; a narrative short from Germany\, When the Hurlyburly’s Done\, which was masterful in every respect\; and The Godmother\, which is just a great way to spend 15 minutes.” Scott Rolf\, Executive Director GFF.\n\nIf you haven’t been to the Geneva Film Festival before\, this is an excellent opportunity to experience us for the first time. We are proud to add The Albright Theatre name and location to this tradition”\, says Jennifer Ring – President of the Albright Theatre. \n\nThe “Best of the Fest” features 30 of our favorite narrative\, student\, and animated shorts presented since our festival’s inception.  In tribute to our gracious host\, The Albright Theatre Company\, we will be following their Friday and Saturday night performance schedule\, closing with a Sunday matinee.  The Friday and Saturday night screenings begin at 8pm\, the Sunday matinee begins at 2pm.  \n\nAll screenings will include a 15 minute intermission\, just like The Albrights Theatre’s live performances.
