DESCRIPTION:Water Street Studios is proud to announce the opening of its Third Anniversary Show on Friday\, September 28 from 6p to 10p. Guest juror for this show is Sergio Gomez\, owner/Director of 33 ContemporaryGallery\, Curator and Director of Exhibitions at the Zhou B. Art Center in Chicago. \n\nAt 7p\, Sergio will announce the Best of Show artist. Seventy-one artists submitted to the show and a total of twenty-eight were accepted to display their work in the main gallery. Of that group\, only seven were selected as Honorable Mention artists including: Fawn Clark-Perterson (Aurora\, Il)\, Jennifer Cronin (Chicago\, Il)\, Rita Grendze (Geneva\, Il)\,Tim Kowalczyk (Minonk\, Il)\, Todd Serrano (Naperville\, Il)\, Steve Sherrell (Oswego\, Il) and Ana Zanic (Naperville\, Il). \n\nIn conjunction with the main galleryopening is a show on the second floor of Water Street Studios in the Kane County Chronicle Gallery featuring the work of students from Water Street Studios School of Art. \n\nDuring the opening\, the 28 artist studios will be open.
