SUMMARY:25th Annual BBQ and Basket Raffle
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 25th Annual BBQ and Basket Raffle. This community fundraising event will be held Wednesday\, April 11\, 2018\, at the Prisco Community Center in Aurora\, Illinois. At this fun-filled\, family-friendly affair\, we serve pork chop and chicken BBQ meals to hundreds of hungry people. We offer dine-in\, drive-thru\, take-out\, and large-order delivery options. The event continues to raise awareness about people with disabilities and has grown enormously over the years. ALL OF THE PROCEEDS from the BBQ support Fox Valley Special Recreation Foundation (FVSRF)\, which in turn supports the recreation\, leisure and social opportunities provided for people with disabilities by Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA). Our 2017 BBQ raised over $30\,000 and we hope to reach even higher in 2018! We will need your help to do so. We sponsor a basket raffle that includes a wide variety of items such as the latest electronic gadgets\, fine dining experiences\, vacation packages\, tickets to professional sporting events and much more. All of these baskets are beautifully packaged by our amazing volunteers\, displayed on our website and within our office at the Vaughan Athletic Center for viewing prior to the BBQ.
