About Us

The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is one of the most distinctive cultural and educational institutions in the Fox Valley, blending local history, hands-on learning, and life-saving public education under one roof.

Located in Aurora’s beautifully restored 1894 Central Fire Station at 53 N. Broadway, the museum preserves the legacy of the fire service while serving as a dynamic destination for families and visitors of all ages.

The Fire Museum featured two floors of exhibits, including a hands-on Children’s Discovery Room. Housed in one of the city’s most recognizable historic buildings, the museum offers an experience that is both immersive and meaningful, connecting the past, present, and future of firefighting and community safety.
