Why Developing a Mission and Vision Statement will Enable Your Group to Plan for Future Success!  Your Mission Statement defines the nonprofits business, its objectives and its approach to reach those objectives. Your Vision Statement describes the desired future position of the nonprofit. Together they will give your nonprofit the focus to see where you are headed tomorrow.

Workshop Goals:

1. Create your Mission Statement
2. Create Vision Statement
3. Attendee understands on how to prepare the statements and generate meaningful updates for both; sustaining skill to keep these statements current in the future
4. Explain to their board and staff not present why these statements are important
