Description
Our 8th annual Moose-a-Palooza Music Fest and Fundraiser brings back some of our fan favorites from year's past. All net proceeds from this event help the Batavia Moose Lodge and their support of the needs of the kids at Mooseheart Child City and School. Event is open to the public. $20 per person charitable donation day of event. Lodge members can pre-purchase tickets at the Lodge for $15. Age 12 and under free. Bring your lawn/bag chairs.
7:00 pm Jimmy Nick and Don’t Tell Mama– Back by popular demand! Jimmy is an old-fashioned guitar slinging blues prodigy. His mission is to expose the next generation to the blues. Driven by his Motown-tight band, Don’t Tell Mama, Jimmy excites crowds with his electrifying guitar work, fresh harp, clever lyrics and animated stage theatrics. His high energy blues and rock-n-roll captivate audiences, and forge instant fans.
5:00 pm: Ivy Ford - Back by popular demand! Versatile, talented, and an old soul. From singing the blues to being sultry, Ivy is an indigo artist whose gift connects those who are around her and those who listen. The “Blues Kitten” serves an experience of music to soothe your soul, fill your heart, with an energy that is most magical.
3:00pm: Jonny Lyons and the Pride – Back by popular demand! From Cash to Presley, to his own recordings, Jonny and his dream 5-piece show band, the Pride, entertain folks all over North America captivating audiences with a stage presence and a touch from the past.
1:00pm: The Joliet Jakes – Welcome to the Moose-a-Palooza premier of the Joliet Jakes who will be kicking off our day of music, fun and dance.. A show band that plays the music of The Blues Brothers and rhythm and blues. They are on a mission from God to help support the kids at Mooseheart!
