DESCRIPTION:NAMI Illinois has an exciting opportunity for young professionals to engage in meaningful conversations about mental health\, develop leadership skills\, and make a lasting impact throughout Illinois. \n\n\n\nWe are launching focus groups for youth and young adults to help us redesign our NAMI Illinois youth and young adult workgroup. This initiative provides a safe and empowering space for high school youth\, college-aged young adults\, and young professionals to discuss mental health\, take on leadership roles\, contribute to a podcast\, and more. We are seeking a diverse group of young leaders from across the state to represent their peers and help shape the future of mental health advocacy in Illinois. Attached are flyers that lead to our focus group application.\n\n \n\nWe would love your support in spreading the word by sharing our flyers with young professionals in your network who may be interested. If selected\, participants will:\n\n	Gain leadership experience and develop valuable skills.\n	Have their voices heard in shaping mental health initiatives.\n	Connect with like-minded peers and professionals in the field.\n	Make a tangible impact on mental health awareness and support.\n\nAlthough we are currently starting with smaller focus groups\, our eventual youth and young adult workgroups will be open to any young professionals within the age range in Illinois who have an interest in mental wellness.
